Bulldogs Beat MSOE 8-1

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The men's tennis team completed their weekend swing in Wisconsin with an 8-1 win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday. The Bulldogs improved to 8-3 overall while the Raiders fell to 2-8.

Adrian swept all three doubles matches as Michael Mertz and Spencer Georgetti continued their hot run winning their last six doubles matches at No. 2 spot. Troy Gargrave picked up a singles win at No. 5 to give the Bulldogs four team points. Joey Loselle for the second day in a row, clinched the team victory by winning 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Loselle is now a team-best 10-1 in singles play this season.

"Our doubles play looked very strong today, all three teams came ready to play and competed with high energy," said head coach Adam Albertsen. "After our match last night, it was great to see the guys come out and look even sharper today on the courts."

The next match is Thursday at Defiance College at 4 p.m.
