GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In another tight match this fall it was the men's tennis team dropping a 5-4 decision on the road to Cornerstone University on Wednesday. The Bulldogs fall to 3-2 overall, while the Eagles go to 3-3.

Adrian captured two of the three doubles matchups winning at the one and three spots. Jordan Verbauwhede and Joey Loselle won 8-4 at one doubles. Ryan Delacy and Spencer Georgetti went to a tiebreak before pulling out a 7-3 score winning 9-8 for the team's second point.

The Eagles won four of the six singles matches to claim the win. Loselle and Alex Amos did their part at two and four singles. Loselle won in three sets winning 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 over Austin Hunt. Amos had a straight sets win over John Andrew (6-3, 7-6).

"We had another good test and we nearly passed it," said head coach Adam Albertsen. "Both of our losses have been by one point and we have to find a way to win those matches in order to become a better team mentally. You hope that these fall matches get you battle tested for the MIAA season."
