Bulldogs Drop MIAA Match to Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - It was a rough day for the Bulldog Men's tennis team as Adrian fell at #27 Kalamazoo, 9-0. With the loss, Adrian drops to 2-5 (0-2 MIAA) on the season.

Freshman Ryan Delacey, junior Cameron Hamilton, and sophomore Ron Hilliard all fell 6-1, 6-0 in their singles matches for Adrian. The closest match in doubles play for the Bulldogs came when Delacey and Hamilton fell to the doubles team of Nate Eddy and Mark Denenfeld, 8-2.

Kalamazoo improved to 5-9, (2-0 MIAA) with the win, as the Hornets are have won 73 consecutive MIAA titles in tennis. Kalamazoo is currently ranked fifth in the region.

This week, the Bulldogs will have another MIAA match, as Adrian will travel to Albion on Thursday. It will be a 4:00 pm start time as the Bulldogs will try to steal a win against the Britons, as Albion sits at 3-5 (0-1 MIAA).
