FREELAND, Mich. - Adrian College senior captain Tad Davis was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) men's soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Sep. 17 – Sep. 23 by the league office on Monday.
Davis assisted on two goals in the Bulldogs 3-0 win at Bluffton on Sep. 19 and scored the Black and Gold's only goal in an 8-1 loss to Case Western Reserve on Sep. 22.
This is the first time this season that a member of the Adrian College men's soccer team has been named a Player of the Week by the MIAA. It is also the first time in Davis's career that he has earned a Player of the Week award. Davis has been named to the All-MIAA Second Team at the end of the last two seasons.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, Sep. 26 when they host Ohio Northern in their final game before MIAA play starts. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
