Bulldogs Score 20, Advance to Final

ADRIAN, Mich. - After a first quarter that left the game in doubt, the Bulldogs rattled off 17 straight goals to take down Concordia (Wis.) and advance to the MLC Conference Final. T.J. Cook scored five goals while Coady Adamson added four and one assist as the Bulldogs improve to 16-1 on  the season.

Adrian was down 4-3 Cody Kilcoyne scored a goal that started the Adrian streak. At one point in the third quarter, the Bulldogs scored three goals in under a minute as Adamson, Cook, and Tyler Tanguay found the net for Adrian.

Kevin Lerg was solid in the nets for the Bulldogs, saving seven shots while only allowing four first half goals. Brandon MacDonald provided some tough defense, causing four turnovers.

The Bulldogs await its next opponent, as Adrian will take on the winner of Aurora and Mount St. Josephs. Adrian beat both opponents this season, with Aurora providing a close 8-7 win for the Bulldogs. The MLC Final will be played this Saturday at noon, from Performance Stadium.
