Donald Lasala Named Men's Lacrosse Head Coach
ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College community welcomes Donald Lasala as the newest addition to the coaching staff as head coach of the men's lacrosse program for the Bulldogs. Lasala comes to Adrian after a successful stint as assistant coach at Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. He served as assistant coach since August 2007 and also was the assistant to the associate athletic director since August 2010.
"I would like to thank Adrian College and its administration for the opportunity to become a head coach," said Lasala. "I have inherited a solid program and hope to continue its brief tradition. I believe I can target the east coast in recruiting and advance the program on a national level. The great facilities sold me on Adrian College. That along with the other programs such as the men's ice hockey team that have become an instant success. I look forward to the challenges of building a national championship contender."
While at Clarkson, Lasala worked with goalie training and as the team's offensive coordinator in 2011. Prior to that, he served as the team's defensive coordinator from 2007-2010. He served as recruiting coordinator and worked with game preparation and scouting as his other primary duties for the NCAA Division III program.
