Brandon MacDonald honored at 2010 Barrie Sports Hall of Fame

ADRIAN, Mich. – Men’s Lacrosse Long Stick Mid-Fielder sophomore Brandon MacDonald (Midhurst, Ont./Eastview Secondary School) was honored recently at the 2010 barrie Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony that took place on October 6.

The 20-year-old was the recipient of the Shayne Corson/Greg Johnston amateur athlete of the year. MacDonald said he was honored to even be nominated for the award, and was disappointed he was unable to travel back home for the ceremony due to mid-term exams.

In his first season with the Bulldogs, MacDonald played in all 13 games, while getting the start in five. MacDonald led the team in groundballs with 50 and caused turnovers with 12. MacDonald also added in three goals and an assist.
