Bryan Yim Nets Pair as Men's Hockey Rallies to Shock Defending National Champs in Overtime

ADRIAN, Mich.--Senior Bryan Yim scored the tying goal in regulation and the game-winner 1 minute and 45 seconds into overtime to lift Adrian to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over defending NCAA champion St. Norbert in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association action on Saturday.

TOP 'DAWGS
= Yim also went 12-for-20 in the face-off circle.

= Junior Bryce Van Horn had a goal and assist.

= Senior captain Cory Dunn finished with three points on a goal and two assists.

= Senior goalie Kevin Entmaa improved to 5-1 on the season after making 28 saves.

= Junior Dino Balsamo added an assist and was 10-for-18 on face-offs.

THE OPPOSITION
= Dominick Sacco had two goals and a plus-2.

= Steven Phillips made two assists and won 11 face-offs in 23 attempts.

= On face-offs, Keegan Milligan was eight-for-14 and Brad Pung was 14-for-27.

= T.J. Black stopped 30 of 34 shots in the SNC goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= The visitors took a seemingly comfortable 3-0 lead through two periods on a pair of goals from Sacco sandwiched around a tally from Peter Bates.

= Dunn got Adrian on the scoreboard just 1:46 gone in the third period with an unassisted goal.

= Then almost 10 minutes later, Van Horn cut the deficit to 3-2 with his first Bulldog goal on assists from Dunn and classmate Connor Armour.

= Yim forced the extra five-minute session with 79 seconds remaining in the third period on his fifth goal of the season, as Adrian had an extra attacker after pulling the goalie.

= Then in OT, Yim played hero again with his wrap-around goal for the game-winner on the only shot on goal in the period.

= Adrian held a 34-31 shots advantage and killed off all six SNC power-play attempts.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= Van Horn played his first two seasons at NCAA Division I Colorado College.

= The last four meetings between the teams have been decided in overtime with each side winning twice. SNC leads the all-time series 10-8, while Adrian is 6-4 at home.

= Entmaa became the third goaltender in Adrian's 12-year history to reach 50 career victories (50-13-2). He trails only Brad Fogal (93, 2007-10) and Scott Shackell (53, 2011-14).

= Dunn leads the NCHA with 10 points (3G, 7A) while Yim has a conference-best six goals.

= With the win today, the Bulldogs move to 10-6-17 all-time in overtime.
