Graham named MCHA Player of the Week
ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College Bulldogs senior forward Zach Graham (Palmerston, ONT) is the MCHA Player of the Week for his contributions as the Bulldogs completed an undefeated regular season with a 17-0-3 record.
Graham had a goal and an assist in the 5-3 win Friday and followed that up with the empty net goal in a 2-0 win in the regular-season finale. The empty-net goal gave him the MCHA scoring title on the year (13G/17A=30 points) by just one point over teammate Shaquille Merasty. Graham and Merasty both led the MCHA in game-winning goals with four.
Although Graham led the MCHA in points, he finished tied for second in both goals and assists. Graham's 13 goals were second only to teammate Shaquille Merasty, and his 17 assists tied him with teammate Josh Cousineau for second place in MCHA assists.
Graham led the MCHA in power-play points (15) as the playmaker on the nation's No.1 power play which converted 31.7 percent overall.
