Dovey and Klaver Named MCHA Players of the Week

-Adrian College Bulldogs sophomore forward Andrew Dovey (Burlington, Ontario) is the MCHA Player of the Week. Dovey started his week with a goal in the 3-1 win over Lake Forest Friday evening. Dovey then followed that up with the game-tying goal and the game-winner early in the second period Saturday for two goals during the game.

-Adrian College Bulldogs senior defenseman Jeremy Klaver (Strathroy, Ontario) is the MCHA Defensive Player of the Week. Klaver had three assists on Saturday to help in the sweep of Lake Forest.

-The Bulldogs are currently ranked 7th in Division III with a 5-1 overall record. They will be hosting the Hackett Builders Thanksgiving Tournament this Friday (Nov. 26) and Saturday (Nov. 27) at Arrington Ice Arena. This year's tournament might be the best in Division III this season and fifth-ranked Hamline (5-1) and ninth-ranked SUNY Geneseo (6-1-2) are also participating in the tournament along with Wisconsin-Eau Claire (3-4).

Adrian will play UW-Eau Claire on Friday at 7:00 PM with SUNY Geneseo and Hamline playing the 3:00 PM game. On Saturday, Adrian will play Hamline at 7:00 PM with UW-Eau Claire and SUNY Geneseo dropping the puck at 3:00 PM. Adrian will be looking for a bit of revenge against Hamline after dropping a pair of games last season in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Adrian lost 6-5 on Jan. 1 and 7-3 on Jan. 2 against the Pipers. The Bulldogs will be playing UW-Eau Claire for the first time in school history.
