D3 Black Downs IPFW, 4-0
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The ACHA Division III Black men's hockey team won its sixth straight game on Jan. 15 with a 4-0 shutout of IPFW. The team improved to 10-1 overall in their first season and also pitched their second shutout of the year.
The Bulldogs scored twice in the first period as Jonathan Terry scored 59 seconds into the game with an assist from Ryan Maloney. Joe Van Geison later scored with 1:03 left in the period with an assist from Enrico Marson.
After a scoreless second period it was Adrian tacking on two more goals in the third period. Austin Mudge scored unassisted at 11:00 and Alec Latin scored on the power play with 6:33 left in the game with an assist from Cole Rochowiak.
Mitch Laflamme made 31 saves in the shutout for the Bulldogs.
