ACHA Black Moves to 3-0 with win at Delta

BAY CITY, Mich. - The Bulldogs traveled to Bay City this Saturday to face-off with the Pioneers of Delta College for the second time this season. Freshman Bryan Pike got the ball rolling scoring his first career goal as a Bulldog with 6:07 left in the first. Bob Bailey tickled the twine with 1:19 left in the first, allowing the 'Dogs to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room at the periods end.

The Bulldogs continued to pour it on in the second as Dan Sprys, Joe Van Geison, and Zach Paulakovich added a goal each, expanding the lead to 5-0. The Pioneers however did manage to score two unanswered goals, until Bryan Pike found the back of the net yet again, making it 6-2 heading into the third.

Mikhail Murashov scored the seventh and final Bulldog goal with 18:41 left in the contest. Delta College did rally late in the third, scoring two more goals, only to fall short by a final score of 7-4. Picking up his second win and making 33 saves was freshman goaltender Riley Brooks. This win puts the Bulldogs at 3-0 on the season as they look to continue their win streak next weekend when they take on the Bobcats of Ohio University at 10:00pm in the beautiful Arrington Ice Arena.
