David Sreiberg Named Division III All-American Scholar by Golf Coaches Association of America

HERSHEY, Pa. - Junior David Sreiberg (Newmarket, Ont.) received Division III All-America Scholar honors by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.
Sreiberg was named Second Team All-MIAA this past fall and carried a 76.18 scoring average in 16 competitive rounds this year. He played nine rounds in the fall and six more this spring. Sreiberg finished in the top ten seven times in tournaments held this season. His best finish was a tie for third in back-to-back MIAA Jamboree's with one being played in Adrian and the other hosted by Kalamazoo. His best round this season was a 71 which came in his final round of the year in the Lamkin Invitational.
The award is sponsored by Cleveland Golf and Srixon and to be eligible an individual must be a junior or senior academically and compete in at least two full years at the collegiate level. The individual must also participate in 70 percent of his team's competitive rounds and have a stroke average of 79.0 in Division III while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.2.
