Final Round of 2017 MIAA Men's Golf Championships Canceled Due to Weather

FREELAND, Mich.--The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association office has announced that Saturday's second round of the 2017 MIAA Men's Golf Championships at the Battle Creek Country Club has been canceled due to unplayable course conditions and unfavorable weather. A make-up date will not be set.

Junior Andrew Skibski paced Adrian with a one-under-par 71, which was only two strokes off the leader Daniel Settecerri from Hope College. Skibski is in a four-way tie for fourth overall. The Bulldogs are in fifth place with a 309.

In the team standings, MIAA champion Hope had narrow lead over Calvin College after the first 18 holes, 289 to 291.

Results from the five rounds played earlier in the fall, including Friday's tournament first round, will be utilized to establish All-MIAA awards for individuals and MIAA team champion.
