Mac Boucher Named First Team All-MIAA

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The 2011 All-MIAA Men's Golf Team was announced on Monday (Oct. 10) and sophomore Mac Boucher from Uxbridge, Ontario was one of six golfers named First Team All-Conference. Boucher is the only sophomore on the First Team and is also the only Canadian on the first or second team this year.

Boucher led the Bulldogs with a scoring average of 75 during the eight MIAA Jamboree rounds this fall. He won or shared medalist honors in four of the eight events, most recently tying for first on Saturday (Oct. 8) in the final jamboree hosted by Adrian College at the Lenawee Country Club with an even-par 71. Boucher also had a three-round streak which saw him shoot 72, 71 and 71 in the second, third and fourth jamboree's respectively. He won the outright medalist honors with a 71 in the third jamboree hosted by Olivet at Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek. Overall this fall in 10 rounds of action, Boucher averaged 75.6 for Adrian.
