Wendell Brown Named Linebackers Coach

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College football program introduces Wendell Brown as the newest addition to the coaching staff. Brown will be the linebackers coach at AC.
Brown was a teammate of current assistant coach Bryant Haines at Ball State University and was a four-year letterman. Brown was a three-year starter at linebacker for the Cardinals and was named Honorable Mention All-MAC in 2006 after starting all 12 games and finishing second on the team in tackles.
Brown was also a member of the 2008 Ball State football team which had a perfect 12-0 record. After his playing days in Muncie, Brown played for the Rochester Raiders of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
Brown returned to his high school alma mater, Martin Luther King, in Detroit in 2009 and was a member of the football coaching staff working with linebackers and special teams. He had a job in the public sector working for the Don Bosco Hall Group Home in Detroit beginning in August 2009 as a treatment specialist.
Brown earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Ball State University in 2008 and is working on a master's degree at Ball State in political science and public administration.
