Hemm and Mitseff Named MIAA Players of the Week
ROYAL OAK, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Adrian College wide receiver Justin Hemm and kicker Logan Mitseff its Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Week respectively for games played on October 22.
Hemm, a junior from Piqua, Ohio (Piqua HS), caught seven passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 52-21 win over Kalamazoo. He caught touchdown passes of 61 and 34 yards as Adrian built a 52-7 lead into the fourth quarter. Hemm is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
Mitseff, a senior from Shelby Township (Pontiac Notre Dame HS), was 7-of-7 on extra points and kicked a 23-yard field goal in Adrian's 52-21 win over Kalamazoo. He also averaged 59.3 yards on nine kickoffs, with two of his kickoffs resulting in touchbacks. Mitseff is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
