Three Bulldogs Named ESPN All-Academic

Junior Nick Ross (Manchester, Mich./Manchester), senior Scott Normandin (Lansing, Mich./Grand Ledge) and senior Austin Fritz (Ayersville, Ohio/Ayersville) have all been named to the ESPN/CoSIDA All-Academic Second Team in District IV College Division for their work both on and off the field in football.

Ross has been a leader on the offensive line for Adrian College having started in all eight games this season and a total of 18 straight games dating back to last year. In addition, he has played in 22 straight contests going back to his freshman year. Ross is a biology major with a 3.76 GPA.

Normandin is a defensive back for the Bulldogs and carries a 3.88 GPA in business. He has played in 26 career games and has 24 tackles during that time. Normandin recorded his first career interception at Olivet this season and returned it 12 yards for a touchdown.

Fritz has been a defensive end menace for 36 career games at Adrian. He maintains a 3.63 GPA in criminal justice and has 117 tackles including 25.5 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks. He ranks fifth at Adrian in tackles for loss in a career and fifth in sacks for a career.
