ADRIAN, Mich. - Adrian College men's basketball senior Justin Webster hit a career milestone in last Saturday's game against Olivet. The forward from Adrian college scored his 1,000 career point after hitting a jumper with 18:29 remaining in the second half. He is the 24th player in program history to reach the 1,000 point milestone.
Webster adds this milestone to an already sensational 2017-18 campaign in which he broke the season record for most free throws with 130. He broke that record on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Hope with 6:49 left in regulation. He also added two Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association player of the week honors along with a U.S. Basketball Writers Association player of the week selection and a D3hoops.com team of the week honor to his resume this season.
With two games left this season, Webster needs just nine made free throws to become the career-leader in made free throws for Adrian College.
The Bulldogs host Alma on Wednesday night for the final home game of the season at 7:30 p.m., ET, before finishing at Kalamazoo on Saturday (Feb. 17).
