Ryan Krokos is in his first season on the Adrian College baseball coaching staff in 2019.
A Cleveland, Ohio native, Krokos spent three years on the Youngstown State University baseball staff after graduating in 2015. He was in charge of catchers and assisted with pitchers at YSU while holding various administrative duties for the team as well as being a camp coordinator. He helped catcher Nick Caruso throw out 48 percent of runners trying to steal, which ranked third in the Horizon League.
Krokos also pitched for the NCAA Division I YSU Penguins from 2011 to 2015, finishing top-10 in school appearances for a career. He was the Penguins' starting pitcher in the 2014 HL championship game, and he went on to start against Stanford in the NCAA Bloomington Regional.
