BEREA, Ohio--Senior Ryan Dorow went 3-for-5 with four runs batted in while becoming the Bulldogs' all-time leader in that category, leading Adrian College to a 7-2 non-conference baseball victory over host Baldwin Wallace University on Wednesday.

= Sophomore starter Jason Schroeder was the first of eight Adrian pitchers utilized, going two scoreless innings without giving up a hit to get the win (3-0). He walked two and struck out one. Twenty-four of 37 pitches went for strikes.
= Reese Albright had two of BW's four hits.
= Starting pitcher Ian Hennessey (L, 0-2) was charged with the loss, but a costly error led to four unearned runs that the Bulldogs took advantage. He allowed five hits in 1-1/3 innings.
= Chase Knodle also had a single.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two-and-a-half innings, keyed by Dorow's first two-run single up the middle to cap a four-run second frame.
= Cole Nieto got two runs back for BW in its home half of the third, slamming a home run to left field with a man aboard.
= With the last scheduled non-conference game on the road in the books, Adrian coach Craig Rainey planned to get his bullpen some plenty of work. The group responded with six scoreless innings to close the contest, allowing just two hits. Five relievers combined for five strikeouts and worked around five walks.
= Dorow had another two-run single--this time to right field--in the top of the third.
= The Bulldogs outhit the Yellow Jackets 10-4, and the teams combined for 17 runners left on base (AC-8, BWU-9).
= The Adrian defense turned three double plays from the fourth through sixth innings.

= Dorow passed two-year All-American Alex Cowart, who had 156 RBI from 2007-10. Dorow leads the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association with 24 this season.
= The Bulldogs are "receiving votes" (16 points) in the Week 6 D3baseball.com Top 25 poll. The team has won three of four games versus nationally-ranked competition so far this spring.
= Dorow owns an 18-game hitting streak, going .493 (37-75) during that span.
= This marked the first-ever meeting versus Baldwin Wallace, which is a member of the NCAA Division III Ohio Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs this spring have won two games against OAC members.
