HOW IT HAPPENED
= Parsons got all the offense he would need in the top of the third inning when Wood homered over the left field wall and two batters later Killinger doubled to left-center to bring home senior Ian Mikowski who reached first base via an error.
= Adrian tacked on an insurance run in the sixth when Dorow homered to left.
= Transy's best scoring opportunity came in the ninth when the second batter, Rogers, singled down the right field line, but Matthew Mueller did a good job to cut the ball off to prevent a double. Parsons did the rest as he struck out the side to end the contest.
