Nate Sarkissian Named MIAA Position Player of the Week

ROYAL OAK, Mich. - Adrian College senior outfielder Nate Sarkissian (South Lyon, Mich.) has been named this week's recipient of the MIAA Position Player of the Week. Sarkissian helped lead the Bulldogs to a 7-1 record during their first week of conference play by hitting .476 with 10 hits in 21 at-bats. He started all eight games this past week and also scored six runs while collecting five doubles and eight RBI's.

Sarkissian hit safely in seven of eight games this past week and reached base safely in all eight contests. He had a 3-for-4 outing in game two at Trine on Saturday where he scored twice and drove in three runs in a 15-5 win. In game one versus Trine at home on Thursday, Sarkissian went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI's.
