Women Finish 6th and Men 7th at MIAA Cross Country Championships

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships in Adrian, Michigan on Saturday. Olivia Vasiloff highlighted the day with a top-15 finish and a Second Team All-MIAA selection.

MEN'S FINISHERS (7th, 28:35.7)

• Junior Clayton Lange finished 35th with a time of 26:52.3

• Junior David Frey finished in 27:51.9 for 41st place

• Freshman William Martin was 42nd with a time of 28:01.8

• Freshman Jack Bess finished 45th with a time of 29:56.0

• Freshman Garrison Dawson rounded out the men's finishers with a 47th-place finish with a time of 30:16.5.

WOMEN'S FINISHERS (6th, 24:37.6)

• Senior Olivia Vasiloff led the Bulldogs by finishing 13th with a time of 22:36.3

• Senior Alicia Szilagyi finished in 23:59.1, good enough for 28th

• Senior Emily Nixon finished 35th with a time of 24:31.0

• Freshman Rebekah Vanderhelm finished in 25:56.7 for 48th

• Freshman Grace Secontine finished in 49th with a time of 26:04.7
