Cross Country Competes in MIAA Jamboree

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Adrian College men's and women's cross country team competed at the MIAA Jamboree hosted at Hope College on Saturday. The women finished with 181 points for sixth place. The men's team totaled 199 points for a seventh-place finish.

ADRIAN FINISHES

Men

Clayton Lange had the best finish for the men with a time of 28:15.3 for 34th place.

David Frey finished 38th with a time of 29:09.8.

Jack Bess had a time of 29:15.3 for a 39th place finish.

• William Martin finished 43rd with a time of 30:30.1.

Garrison Dawson rounded out the men's finishes with a 45th place finish of 32:03.9.

Women

Olivia Vasiloff led the women with a 11th-place finish with a time of 23:17.5.

Alicia Szilagyi was 27th with a time of 24:49.7.

Grace Secontine finished 45th with a time of 27:26.8.

• Rebekah Vanderhelm had a 47th-place finish with a time of 27:40.2.

Kaley Haupt had a time of 29:55.4 that was good enough for 51st.

Taylor Schmidt finished 53rd with a time of 37:01.2.

UP NEXT

Both the men and women will travel to compete at the SUNY Geneseo Invitational in Mt. Morris, N.Y. next Saturday, September 30.
