Track Concludes Season at Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The last chance to qualify for outdoor nationals came at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College on Friday, May 21. The Bulldogs did not have an athlete set a strong enough provisional mark and thus will miss out on the NCAA outdoor meet.

Caitlin Dickerson competed and finished three events as she placed sixth in the discus with a toss of 112 feet 7 inches. She was also eighth in the shot put with a throw of 36 feet 0.25 inches and 12th in the javelin with a throw of 84 feet 1 inch.

Aaron Wielfaert gave it his best shot in the high jump and finished sixth with a height of 6 feet 3.25 inches. Alicia Fowler finished eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.43. Alison Lofgren was 20th in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.38.

Bob Palmer and Jay Yockey both ran in the 3,000 meter steeplechase as Palmer finished 20th (9:37.43) and Yockey was 26th (9:52.50).
