INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced the participants in the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend. Adrian College junior Jordan Davis, who is a sophomore athletically, was the lone Bulldog representative to qualify for an event in the championships.
Davis is one of 20 student-athletes that qualified and will compete in the 110-meter hurdles at the championships. His time of 14.48 in the 110-meter hurdles event at the NCC Gregory Final Qualifier meet was enough to rank him 13th nationally in the event and qualify him for the NCAA championships.
The NCAA committee accepted the top 20 men's student-athletes in each contested men's event, the top 22 women's student-athletes in individual events, and the top 16 relay teams (one per institution).
The championships will take place at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio on May 25-27.
