Track and Field Compete on Final Day of Hillsdale Gina Relays

HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Adrian College men's and women's track team competed at the final day of the Hillsdale Gina Relays on Saturday afternoon. Kevon Spence and Jordan Davis recorded top five finishes for the men; Rachel Dolphin had two top five finishes for the women's side.

TOP MEN FINISHERS

• Spence finished third in the triple jump with a best jump of 11.41 meters.

• Davis set a personal best with a  fifth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.76.

• The men's 4x400 relay team of Gabe Lopez, Adam Burns, Davis, and Blake Hairston finished fourth with a time of 3:29.20.

TOP WOMEN'S FINISHERS

• Dolphin had one top-five finish as an individual and one as a member of a relay team. Her individual finish came in the 100-meter dash where she finished fifth with a time of 12.71 seconds. 

• The women's 4x400 relay team consisting of Takiyah Smith, Kyla Sovran, Kallee Reiff, and Dolphin finished fourth with a time of 4:07.92.

Rayona Hart-Wilson had a best triple jump of 10.06 meters was good enough for a 10th-place finish.

Takiyah Smith was 11th in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.31 seconds.

Monica Edick was the final top-15 finisher for the women. She finished 14th in the discus with a throw of 33.47 meters.
