Track and Field Compete at Trine Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College track and field team competed at the Trine Invitational on Friday night.

Jordan Davies set the school record the 60m hurdles last week in Defiance with a time of 8.55. He improved on that time last night when he finished first in the event with a time of 8.38.

Daniel Malcolm finished less than two seconds behind the leader during heat #2 of the one mile run with a time of 4:45.18.

Jordan Simon finished in second in the shot put by recording a throw of 14.19m.

On the women's side Takiyah Smith finished in second during heat #4 of the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.57. Teammate Natalie Modes also finished second the 200-meter dash finals heat #5 with a time of 27.97.

Olivia Vasiloff finished third in the second heat of the women's 800 meter run. She clocked in a time of 2:35.93.

The women's 4x400-meter relay team finished in first place with a time of 4:18.59.

The team travels to Hillsdale next weekend to compete in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic on Friday and Saturday, February 5-6. The meet kicks off at noon both days
