FINDLAY, Ohio - Both the Men's and Women's Track and Field teams for Adrian College traveled to the Findlay Classic Saturday for the Findlay Indoor Track and Field Classic. Both sides had a number of strong performances as the teams competed at an indoor meet at Findlay for the second straight week.
On the Women's side, senior Kelsea Sellers has another notable performance in the 60 Meter Dash as she improved her already school-record time to 7.80 seconds. Sellers also competed in the 200 Meter Dash, running to an 8th place finish in 26.97 seconds.
The Women also recieved two other first-place finishes on the day from a couple distance runners. Junior Alicia Fowler was the first to cross the line in the mile in 5:18.58 while freshman Megan McPherson did the same in the 5,000 with a time of 18:30.80.
For the Men, junior Aaron Wielfaert had a strong performance in the high jump as he cleared 6-2 which was good enough for sixth place on the afternoon. The distance medley team comprised of senior Peter Konicezki, sophomore Brandon Watters, sophomore Andrew Mangiapane and freshman Thomas Windle also had a sixth place finish as they ran it in 11:08.03.
The next indoor meet for the Bulldogs will come on Feb. 3 as they will head to Angola, Ind. to compete in a meet at Trine University.
