Tracksters Turn in Solid Performances at NCC Last Chance Qualifier

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – It was a solid day for the Adrian College track & field team at the North Central College Last Chance Qualifier on Friday (March 4). Several student-athletes turned in top performances on the day.

In the 800m run, Ricardo Dabney turned in the Bulldogs best finished placing fourth with a time of 1:59.44. Chad Allemon placed eighth in the 200m with a time of 23.45.

Derek Stoll had another solid performance as he finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 15.12m. Aaron Wielfaert finished in fifth place in the high jump with a height of 2.00m.

On the women's side, Kelsea Sellers finished sixth in the 60m dash with a time of 8.04. Alicia Fowler finished the 800m run in a time of 2:20.24 to place fifth. Megan Meier placed ninth in the shot put with a distance of 11.60m.

Stoll and Wielfaert have provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships and will find out on March 6 if they will be heading to Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
