Bulldogs Sweep Niagara

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College ACHA Division I team swept Niagara over the weekend. The Bulldogs shut out the Purple Eagles on Saturday 4-0, and came back to claim a 5-1 victory on Sunday.

Tom Ciaverilla had a great game on Saturday night as he ended the game with three points. He scored a goal and made two assists. Kevin Sunde impacted the game with a power-play goal and an assist. Jordan Spencer and Chris Dixon rounded out the scoring for Adrian. Sebastian Ramirez was in the net for AC. He made 21 saves.

The Bulldogs used a total team effort on Sunday to earn the 5-1 win. Five different Bulldogs scored a goal and nine different players were credited with at least one assist. Joey Coffin, Jack Goodell, Alex Norman, Kevin Sunde, and Ethan Johnson provided the offense as each player scored a goal. Coffin's goal gives him a team-high 16 on the year.

Ciaverilla had two assists giving him a team-high 21 on the season. Ciaverilla also leads the team in points with 33. Matt Welch made 16 saves in net to earn the win.
