Five Different Bulldogs Score as Adrian Tops Penn State 5-1

The Adrian College Women's ACHA Division I squad continued their winning ways as they dropped visiting Penn State 5-1 at Arrington Ice Arena on Sunday.

The visiting Nittany Lions were able to get off just 15 shots against the Bulldogs, as sophomore goaltender Allison Dungey picked up the win with 14 saves.

The Bulldogs were able to spread their offense around, as five different players were able to score in the contest, with Adrian blasting 46 shots at Penn State's goaltender Aimee Little, who was forced to make 41 saves.

Lighting the lamp for Adrian were sophomore forward Morgan Praska, senior defender Valerie Twigg, freshman forward Kirsten Labelle, sophomore forward Sabrena Camp and freshman forward Kaillie Hardy.

Picking up assists for the Bulldogs were freshman forward Nicole Paradis with three, junior forward Jessie Rushing added two and Adrian got single helpers from senior forward Nichole LaFlamme, junior defender Paige Fuoco and junior forward Alicia Tait.

The Bulldogs will next take the ice Thursday October 8 when they take on Davenport University at the Arrington Ice Arena.
