The Adrian College ACHA Division I Women's Hockey team will begin their inaugural season of play as a member of the prestigious Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association (CCWHA). The CCWHA is the largest ACHA women's league in the country. There are currently eight teams that participate in the league. All of the participating teams are located throughout the Midwest. The purpose of the league is to promote the sport of women's hockey at the collegiate level and provide opportunity for young women to compete as student-athletes in the sport of ice hockey while earning their college degree. Adrian College is committed to becoming an upstanding member of the CCWHA and looking forward to starting play next season.
CCWHA Members include Michigan State, Miami (Ohio), Robert Morris (Ill.), Grand Valley State, Michigan, Northern Michigan, Western Michigan and Ohio State.
