Bulldogs Earn Second Win of the Season at Georgetown (Ky.)

GEORGETOWN, KY. -- The Adrian College acrobatics and tumbling team earned its second win of the season with a final score of 228.945 at Georgetown (Ky.) (131.675) on Saturday evening. 

The Bulldogs used scores of 9.55 and 9.25 to take an early 32.20-23.35 lead following the compulsory event.

Adrian tallied scores of 7.90/9.30,  8.20/9.40, and 8.60/10.00 to win the acro event with a 24.70, which increased the lead by another 2.40 points.

The Bulldogs had an event-high 8.95 in the Open Pyramid to finish with a 26.30 event score. The Tigers defeated Adrian in the pyramid 26.45-26.30.

Georgetown (Ky.) also won the toss event with a 24.45 score to Adrian's 24.25.

The Bulldogs finished the event with a 40.025 team event score to take the meet.

Adrian will finish up the acrobatics and tumbling season on April 7 when the team travels for a rematch with Concordia University Wisconsin. The meet is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m., ET.
