Women's basketball sophomore forward Sha'Trice Graves has led NCAA Division III in blocked shots for most of the 2018-19 season. Going into the week of Jan. 20, she led the nation with 59 blocks, which is eight shy of the single-season school record.
In the season opener against Manchester, a 52-46 win, Graves set a school benchmark with eight blocks. She also grabbed 11 rebounds versus the Spartans.
This season, Graves has recorded multiple blocks in all but two games going into the week of Jan. 20. Of her 59 blocks, 28 have come at home and 31 on the road and 25 in wins, 34 in losses.
She has 89 in her career through games played Jan. 20, which is good for third place already on the school's all-time list.
Graves, of Indianapolis, Ind. (Lighthouse Charter High School) is a criminal justice major.
